It is now the last moment to register for the International MESO Symposium held in Marrakech, on January 22-24, 2009!
This exceptional meeting will gather all the key actors involved in MESO studies in Maghreb and Machreq and environmental economics. International experts, along with politic and economic decision-makers will share their experience. In addition, an interactive program will allow each participant to contribute to the debates and reflections.

The report records the main presentations and discussions that took place. Principal outcomes are highlighted. Finally, the evaluation results of the Symposium are also presented.
The MESO Symposium had three main objectives. First, bringing together decision makers, industrials leaders and key academia involved in the MESO programme in order to disseminate and exchange their experiences. Second, providing an overview of the results of the MESO studies elaborated in the MENA region. Finally, facilitating further partnerships and exploring future needs from beneficiary countries.

Second International Meeting on Environmental Economics, Annaba « Transport, Territories & Environment, November 22-24 Annaba
PRIEV (First International Meeting on Environmental Economics) held last November 2007, initiated the analysis on the cross-cutting interface between “economic activities” and “natural resources”. The DRIEV's (Second International Meeting on Environmental Economics) goal is to supplement this debate with a specific focus on: First, the problems of transport and its impacts on the environment and on health. Second, the territorial dimensions of the relation between "economic activities" and "natural resources".
